The ‘Ethmarati’ program, initiated by Ethmar International Holding (EIH), headquartered in Abu Dhabi, seeks to foster the skills and career paths of youth, providing them with knowledge to enhance their employability. This Abu Dhabi-based holding company is now presenting over 700 job opportunities as part of its newly launched Emiratisation program.
Introduced at the Tawdheef x Zaheb 2023 exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the ‘Ethmarati’ program aligns with the UAE leadership’s Emiratisation vision. According to Ali Elgebely, the Managing Director and Group CEO of EIH, the program actively supports the goals of enhancing the skill set of Emirati youth and encouraging their involvement in the private sector.
Elgebely emphasized EIH’s pivotal role in Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s future social and economic growth. The ‘Ethmarati’ program aims to further develop the skills and career paths of Emirati youth, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge to enhance their employability, particularly in the private sector.
“We are excited to showcase this program at this year’s Tawdheef x Zaheb, which is a fantastic event for fulfilling the potential of a new generation of Emiratis,” said Elgebely.
The program is set to offer more than 700 job opportunities to Emirati talent within EIH and its subsidiaries. EIH’s diverse portfolio spans nine industry sectors, including travel and tourism, oil and gas, technology, marketing communications, real estate, facility management, drone solutions, human capital, and procurement services.
Elgebely highlighted that the program provides Emirati talent with the opportunity to undergo specialized training with experts in various sectors, ensuring they gain real-world experience to prepare them for successful careers.
In a significant move, EIH signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), a federal entity mandated to support the UAE’s human development program and the recruitment of Emirati talent in the private sector.
Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, noted that this collaboration represents the latest in a series of partnerships between Nafis and private companies committed to training and employing Emirati youth.
Under the agreement, Nafis will engage EIH in its programs and initiatives, and EIH will encourage its subsidiaries, partners, and stakeholders to participate in Nafis’ initiatives and programs, recruiting at least 350 UAE talents into the group in two years.
Elgebely stated, “This milestone is the result of highly productive discussions and a shared mission, with our colleagues at Nafis, cementing our efforts in contributing to the UAE’s economy and utilizing Emirati youth capabilities, in complete support of the UAE’s government initiatives.”
The three-day Tawdheef x Zaheb 2023 exhibition dedicated to enabling Emiratis’ access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities is set to conclude on Wednesday.
